VIBRATION ANALYSIS CAT I (ISO 18436-2) CERTIFICATION

Descrizione

Do you know you need to learn more but don’t know where to start? Our CAT I course is specifically designed to help build a solid foundation for those new to this predictive maintenance tool—vibration analysis.

This 3-day seminar is intended for individuals with little or no experience in vibration analysis and prepares participants for the ISO Category II course. It introduces participants to how vibration can be properly used to detect various issues in rotating machinery.

Basic vibration theory is presented to give each student an understanding of vibration in relation to machine condition, along with practical demonstrations and classroom exercises designed to show proper data collection techniques.

The course concludes with an exam which, once successfully completed, certifies the participant as an ISO Category I Vibration Analyst.

Pubblico consigliato

This course is recommended for Maintenance Leaders, Operations/Production Leaders, Maintenance Skilled Trades, Vibration Analyst and Reliability Engineers.

Prerequisiti

Little or no previous vibration experience will be required to take this class. However, no Vibration Analyst can truly be effective without some basic skills and previous experience in maintenance of the machines which will be included in the PdM program. In order to obtain certification as a Vibration Analyst ISO Category I, the participant shall, in accordance with the ISO 18436 standard, possess a minimum of 6 months of practical experience in the application of vibration analysis techniques. If the participant does not possess this experience at the time of the examination, a temporary certificate will be issued, with full certification being provided upon completion of the professional experience requirements.

Durata del corso

3 days, with examination provided on the morning of day 4
