Mons, 8 July 2025 — Ahlem Ben Salem is a 31-year-old engineer who has just joined the I-care team. With her arrival, the Belgian group, a leader in industrial predictive maintenance, has reached a symbolic milestone of 1.000 employees, marking a new stage in its development.
Originally from Zwijndrecht and a University of Antwerp graduate, Ahlem chose I-care because she wants to ‘put technology at the service of a more sustainable industry’. “What struck me about I-care was the mindset of the teams. You can feel that the company isn’t just getting bigger, it’s growing with a very strong culture that you sense as soon as you walk through the door”, she says.
4 new recruits per week to support global ambitions
Founded in Mons, the I-care group has become a world leader in industrial predictive maintenance in just a few years. Thanks to its patented technologies and the expertise of its teams, the company is making industries more reliable, sustainable and efficient.
It is currently growing at a rate of four new recruits per week, both in Belgium and internationally. I-care continues to attract high-calibre candidates, drawn by the prospect of joining an ambitious project with local roots and global reach.
“Reaching the 1.000-employee mark is like taking a new turn in an endurance race”, explains Fabrice Brion, I-care’s CEO. “And Ahlem is not just a number. She embodies the I-care spirit: a blend of innovation, passion and humility. Her role is all the more symbolic given that she is a young woman from a technical background. It is this combination that enables us to achieve great things together while keeping our feet firmly on the ground. I-care and its sector are moving in the right direction.”
People are at the heart of the engine
Since its inception, I-care has placed respect for people, performance, and sustainability at the core of its identity. This model is appealing and fosters loyalty: the staff turnover rate is exceptionally low (less than 3%), demonstrating the teams’ deep commitment.
Nearly 1 in 3 employees is a shareholder in the company thanks to an employee share ownership programme set up in the early years, which is a symbol of this philosophy.
I-care is staying on course, growing without losing its soul.
The 1.000th employee is joining an entrepreneurial adventure that combines technological expertise, teamwork and mastery of curves.
