Finasucre joins the Board of Directors of I-care
Mons, October 11, 2022 – I-care Group is pleased to announce that Finasucre Group will have a seat on its Board of Directors, following the recent announcement of its record-breaking €50 million fundraising. Finasucre’s participation amounts to €20 million. The choice of this new industrial investor confirms the resolutely Belgian roots and the international ambition of I-care, which wants to become the world leader in industrial machine health.
In addition to Fabrice Brion and Arnaud Stiévenart, I-care’s co-founders, the Board of Directors of I-care will now be composed of Bruno Colmant (independent director), Gauthier Cruysmans (Finasucre), Damien Lourtie (SRIW), and Serge Demoulin (IMBC).
Finasucre is a Belgian family-owned industrial group mainly active in the sugar sector but also, via its subsidiaries Galactic and Futerro, in the production of lactic acid and PLA (renewable bioplastics produced from lactic acid). Established on five continents, the company has 9 subsidiaries, 11 production sites and nearly 5,000 permanent and seasonal employees. With nearly a century of experience in the industrial sector, this investor will bring considerable expertise to I-care, which celebrated its 18th anniversary a few days ago.
